UX research

This project aims to address the challenges faced by patients in accessing and managing their healthcare information in Australia. Through a user-centred design approach, an empathic health management app will be developed to improve the healthcare experience for patients. The app will prioritise patient needs and preferences and provide convenient access to medical information, symptom tracking, and communication with healthcare providers. Ultimately, this project seeks to empower patients to take a more active role in their healthcare journey and improve health outcomes.
Purpose of the research
To validate the need for a new health app that allows patients to store and manage their medical records and personal health information, and share it with healthcare providers in a secure and convenient manner. The research aims to understand the current pain points and unmet needs of patients with regard to managing their health information, and to identify the key features and functionalities that they would like to see in a new health app.

Product or service description:
The app would use AI algorithms to analyse and interpret medical test results. It would then give patients a clear, easy-to-understand summary of their health status and any relevant recommendations. The app would also allow patients to store and access their health records, including past diagnoses, treatments, and test results, in one central location.

Personalised health recordsIntegration with healthcare providers
Ongoing health tracking

Product:
to evaluate the concept of the app and gather feedback on its potential features and functionalities. To measure the level of interest and demand for the app, and to identify any barriers or obstacles that might prevent people from using it.Competitor: To gather information about existing products and competitors, and to identify ways this product concept could differentiate itself and offer unique value to its users.
Significance of the research:
It provides valuable insights into the target market's needs, habits, and behaviours. This information can be used to validate the product idea, design and develop a product that meets the needs of the target market, differentiate the app from its competitors, improve customer satisfaction, and increase the chances of business success.
